Zootopia: Nick Wilde

The perfect treat for a sly fox with a love for blueberries, this Nick Collins Wilde cocktail beautifully combines the sour with the sweet. Tart and sweet cocktail, it's sure delight prey and predator, cop and conman alike! Place a dozen blueberries in the bottom of a shaker tin. Pour in simple syrup and muddle (crush) the berries. If you have a sweet tooth, you may want to add an extra half ounce of simple syrup. Add in lemon juice, gin and ice, shake until very cold. Fill a collins glass half way with ice and double strain your mixture into the glass. Top with club soda, garnish with a few blueberries, fresh off the farm, and enjoy!

2 oz gin
½ oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
2 oz club soda
12 blueberries

Make it a mocktail:
There's no need for youngsters who want to grow up to be a fox to go without! Skip the gin by making an ounce of rosemary simple syrup. It's easy to do, just combine half an ounce of sugar, half an ounce of water, and throw in a spring of rosemary. Heat and stir over the stovetop until the sugar has dissolved and the mix smells of rosemary. Simply follow the above instructions, muddling the blueberries with the rosemary simple, serve and enjoy! Toot, toot!
