Adventure Time: Bacon Pancakes

What time is it? Bacon pancake time! Our Adventure Time cocktail tastes just like a pancake, and the candied bacon garnish will have you singing the song all day. What are you waiting for? Let's make the bacon and put it in a pancake.

Pre heat your oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with foil, lay bacon out so that the slices do not overlap. Place bacon in the oven and let it cook for 10 minutes. Turn the bacon and return to oven for 5 minutes. Remove the bacon and increase temperature to 400. Turn the bacon and brush it with the candied glaze over. Return to the oven for another five minutes, then flip the bacon and brush with the glaze again. Repeat, turning and brushing the bacon every five minutes until the bacon is cooked and crispy, approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of your bacon bacon and your oven. Allow the bacon to cool before using as a garnish, refrigerate if not using immediately.

In a shaker with ice, combine RumChata, vanilla vodka, fireball whiskey, cream and syrup. Shake until very cold, then strain into a chilled up glass. Garnish by laying a strip of candied bacon across the glass, or cut bacon into squares and use to garnish the rim. Sip and enjoy your tipsy Adventure Time with this delicious breakfast-y cocktail!

To Make:
Candied Bacon:
1 pound thick cut bacon
1/4th cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
4 tablespoons maple syrup

2 oz RumChata
1/4th oz vanilla vodka
1/4th oz fireball whiskey
1 oz heavy cream
splash maple syrup
